Well here is the final piece to the baby gorilla. This drawing is a bit different than my others, in that i mixed in an animal and plants. I love how the delicate flowers and the slender grass along with the textures from the tree trunk brings the overall drawing together. Of course the main focus is the baby gorilla but all the other details compliment the gorilla beautifully. Well this one measures 11x14 and is done with pencil on smooth bristol. I hope you like this one, take care all.

thank you very much, this one took me a bit longer than my other ones, about 2 weeks, but i also was working on a commission as well. But im sure it took longer than my other ones.

Two weeks well spent in my opinion...^^ I'd never have the patience to spend two weeks on a piece of artwork...Thsu the reason why I can't draw for love nor money...^^;

yea patience is a big part of drawing with pencil. I just love the whole process, even though it can be sometimes very tedious, but the end results makes it worth it.
