Well i finally finished the Leopard. This leopard will be the first of a series of drawings that i will be making of big cats. My next one will be either a jaguar, lion or tiger. But before i can start on that one i gotta finish a couple commissions that i have. Well this one is 11x14 done with pencil on vellum bristol paper. Its elegance and beauty is what caught my attention. The sense is peace but also the sense its ready to pounce when its necessary. Well thank you all that followed my progress.

I'm terribly impressed that it was done using grids and still you maintain a very good contrast. It's very much different from my school of thought, where we concentrate first on laying down the large areas of shadows to get good contrast and maintain fairly accurate proportions.
