Artist's Comments

This was more of a practice drawing than anything else. I enjoy drawing both tigers and lions so i thought why not combine the two in one. My goal was to show the difference and to also understand the small things that makes them so unique. I know i could have drawn a liger, which does exist, but i wanted to the viewer to be able to recognize the two animals. This one measures 5x7 and is done on Bristol vellum with pencils. Well hope you like this one and let me know if you have any questions.

i love the melting... well i cant find any other word to describe that haha. i've seen pictures done in photoshop, but never hand drawn. probably not the most original of ideas, but very good execution and outcome.
